We’re back! The Affnook team just touched down from iGB Live Barcelona 2026, and honestly, we’re still buzzing.
On January 20–21, the Fira Barcelona Gran Via became the center of the iGaming world. But for us, it wasn’t about the massive venue or the flashy lights, it was about those “lightbulb moments” that only happen when you’re talking to someone face-to-face.
The Team on the Ground
Our crew at Booth 81–J48 stayed busy from the first cup of coffee until the lights went down. Representing the heart of Affnook were:
- Mukul Kaushik, CRO
- Rahul Pant, Associate Director of Sales
- Jeremy Castillo, Head of Sales EU
- Vivek Kumar, Senior Software Engineer
From old friends to total strangers, the booth felt like a hub for anyone who wanted to talk shop, share a frustration, or just say hello.
We Came to Listen, Not Just Talk
Usually, trade shows are about “The Pitch.” We decided to do things differently this year. We went in with one simple goal: Listen more than we speak.
Instead of showing off a list of features, we asked everyone we met: “What’s actually slowing you down right now?” It turns out, whether you’re in Spain, Singapore, or Brazil, the headaches are the same. People are tired of drowning in messy data, they’re frustrated by a lack of transparency, and they’re losing way too many hours to manual spreadsheets.
Hearing these stories was a reality check. It reminded us that the industry doesn’t need “more” technology—it needs smarter technology that actually makes life easier.
A World of Ideas
It was amazing to see how global this industry has become. Jeremy spent hours chatting about the shifting regulations in Europe, while Mukul and Rahul explored exciting new partnership ideas with teams from Latin America and Asia.
Meanwhile, Vivek was in “tech heaven,” swapping ideas with other engineers about how to keep data accurate and systems stable when traffic hits record highs. Even though every market is different, one thing is clear: everyone wants a platform they can actually trust.
Tapas, Coffee, and Real Connections
Some of the best “meetings” we had didn’t involve a table or a presentation. They happened while waiting in line for coffee or sharing tapas in the evening.
The true magic of informal interactions is found in removing your professional facade, allowing you to connect with people outside of work, when you can appreciate that there is a human being behind every report or campaign — someone trying to create something amazing. Trust has been built from real life internal interactions with others through face-to-face contact via handshakes & laughter instead of being established electronically through thousands of emails.
What’s Next?
We didn’t just bring back business cards; we brought back a roadmap. The feedback you gave us at the booth is already being discussed in our product meetings. You told us you want simplicity and reliability, and we’re doubling down on exactly that.
Let’s Keep Talking
To everyone who stopped by Booth 81–J48: Thank you for being so open with us. Your stories are what help us make Affnook better every day.
If we missed you in Barcelona, we’d still love to chat! Reach out anytime—let’s keep working together to make this industry more efficient and a lot more human.
