Nonetheless, he also indicated the regulatory disadvantages that accompany such growth. Compared to the overcontrolled markets of Europe, he cautioned that profitability could be challenging in some areas of the world, such as Brazil, because of the complicated licensing system. 

According to him, regulators need to understand the operational challenges that come with overregulation. By this, he means that sustainable growth requires a balance between compliance and flexibility.

From the Lottery Desk to the CEO Seat

The personal experience of Christoffer with the leadership of Cubeia is as interesting as the mission of the company itself. His first job in the gaming industry was in the Swedish National Lottery in the late 1990s, where he gained firsthand experience in gaming operations and compliance. 

He later transitioned into venture capital, management consulting, and academia. His vast experience also includes serving at the Stockholm School of Economics.

After more than two decades in the industry, including ten years in charity lotteries, Christoffer brought his rich experience to Cubeia. His eclectic background is the source of his strategic, human-centered leadership, which focuses on both innovation and partnership.

Christoffer believes that in the future, crypto-first solutions will play a crucial role in driving innovation within the iGaming industry.
